NTEM

New Testament Evangelistic Ministry

(NTEM)

New Testament Apostolic Evangelistic Ministry is the full name of this ministry. Elder Walker was sitting in his room one day gazing upon a model church he had built when all of a sudden he heard the words “NEW TESTAMENT” No one was around, but the presence of God. Elder Walker thought that would be the name of the church if he was to start one. But later realized that name would be the name of his personal ministry.

This ministry started in December 2006. Immediately he had a vision for the ministry God was birthing in him. He wanted it to help people. Elder Walker has a heart for people who need God. Many have often perceived him as one who showed little remorse, but you can’t judge a book by its cover. Elder Walker has done ministry in ways that many don’t know. He has a love for people, and hates to see anyone be left out. The poor who can’t afford a place to live, and food to eat, it inside breaks his heart.

One night Elder Walker and his wife were washing their cars at a car wash near their home. A man was wondering around in the cans and later came up to Elder Walker asking for money. Elder Walker responded he had nothing to give to him. He told his wife to head home so she would not be bothered by the man. When Elder Walker got in his car, God clearly spoke and justiced him for not doing enough to help a poor man with no food to eat. Elder Walker went home, fixed the man a sandwich and grabbed a bottle of juice from his refrigerator, and went back to the car wash and gave it to the homeless man. Elder Walker felt better in his heart knowing that he did a good deed as a Christian. Elder Walker realized that was ministry in itself. From that night he knew that he needed to do more to help those who had less.

The mission of NTEM is to help those who have nothing, and to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ to a dying world. Everyone regardless of their background has a soul, and it must spend eternity somewhere. With the help of those who God sends this way NTEM shall become a ministry that will be there to help people who need help. And to save people who want to make a change in their life.
